Famous Hackor iH8Sn0w has updated SHSH Blobs Dumper “iFaith” as iFaith 1.4.2 today. We have mentioned today in our Downgrade post and iH8Snow just updated iFaith v1.4.2 for you with minor bugs fixed. iFaith1.4.2 has fixed the iOS Detection bug with improved performance. In any case you aren’t familiar with iFaith, it’s a Windows application made by iH8sn0w that dumps your SHSH blobs and APtickets locally so that you can make custom signed restorable firmwares.
iFaith was the first application that allowed you to make a signed ‘.ipsw’ file for iOS 5. iFaith allows users to visualize all backed up blobs, as well as build custom ipsw’s using those blobs. Custom IPSW’s can then be used to restore the device using iTunes. iFaith is the first public SHSH Dumper. For making the backup, first submit dump SHSH blobs to remote server. As MuscleNerd has said that you can use TinyUmbrella to save your SHSH blobs with APtickets instead of iFaith. Unfortunatelt iFaith is only for Windows and not for Mac so we are providing the iFaith 1.4.2 windows download link below.
