The iPhone users utilize Siri while Samsung Galaxy S II uses voice command powered by Vlingo. Siri is the most famous and best performing app with Voice command but requiring more than one or two taps. That’s why one of the XDA-Developers named hirak99 created quite simple widget for Driving Mode.
As the name suggests Driving mode widget enable or disable Driving Mode with just a tap. After activating driving mode, incoming notifications can be read out so that you respond accordingly.
Driving Mode widget is tested and confirmed on Samsung Galaxy S II (Android 4.0.3 ICS). Driving Mode works on Android 2.3 Gingerbread as well. Download Driving mode widget on Galaxy S II which is available in the form of an APK format.
The Download and install procedure is quite easy: Follow simple download by the APK here, enable Unknown sources from Settings > Applications, open the downloaded APK and then tap Install. Later on press the Menu button on the home screen, tap Add > Widgets > Driving Mode Widget to add the widget (a simple green circle) to your home screen.
